...and buy this one instead". Such a nice idea, and it´s the title of DCDUrban Dad´s review of the album. Here is the link,

"When it comes to children´s music, I have 5 simple criteria that I use decide whether or not it is worthy of play or if goes in the garbage:
1. Does it make me want to sing at the top of my lungs and not gouge my eyes out (reference Barney).
2. Does it make me want to get up and get get down, even while driving in traffic.
3. Does it makes the Mini-Kamp boogie in her seat.
4. Immediately after the song is over does the Mini-Kamp ask for more.
5. Is the song title the first words out of her mouth once we get in the car.
If it gets 1 out 5, eh, maybe put it into rotation. If it gets 3 out 5, I consider buying the CD. But if it gest 5 out of 5, it´s time to spread the word, tell my friends and make sure I never leave home without it.
Folks, I have found a CD that hits all 5 and it´s time to spread the word. It´s called Spaghetti Eddie and its from a dude named Brendan Parker. Brendan reached out to me a few months ago and asked me to sample the tunes.
Folks I cannot rip the CD from the CD player or else I incur the wrath of the Mini-Kamp. She is a fanatic. Specially she is a fan of Spaghetti Eddie and Body Parts. It makes a perfect Christmas, Chaunakah, or just here it´s for you gift."

"If you were to ask our Savvy preschoolers about their favorite new music of the year, they would immediately start chanting "Spaghetti Eddie, Spaghetti Eddie!!!" Now to tell the truth, we do not always share our three-year-olds´ taste in music. But happily, in this case, parents and children are in perfect agreement. Brendan Parker´s tunes, written for his baby Goddaughter (how sweet!), are perfectly suited to a preschooler´s interests. Songs about colors, the days of the week, and (of course) spaghetti make those little ears perk up right away. A track called "Body Parts" has the kids shaking their arms and wrinkling their noses in the cutest possible way. And the catchy "Pick It Up" is a much needed and vast improvement on the "Clean Up Song." This is a happy, appealing album that the little ones adore and parents will enjoy cuing up again and again."

This review came in from the website www.owtk.com, which is a great site to stay up to speed on music, movie and entertainment for your kiddos! Thanks!
Question: Do you know what, together with your ears, makes a fabulous match?
Answer: The lead track on Brendan Parker’s debut kid’s CD
“Spaghetti Eddie! And Other Children’s Songs.”
The song “Together Like You And Me” stretches the analogy of what goes splendidly together (bacon and eggs, mac-n-cheese, thunder and lightning, to name a few) to illustrate the unbridled joy of the parent/child relationship. Musically, the fully-charged-battery of a song puts punchy horns, power chords, pounding drums, and a few accentuated cymbals crashes to very good use. If you’ve got a 3-minute drive in your tiny-travel plans, allow me to introduce the perfect soundtrack.
“Together Like You And Me” is pure ear candy that’ll get the entire minivan singing along faster than you can go 0 to 60. And there isn’t anything that pairs up nicer with a drive in the family car than extremely happy children.
